Environmental Policy

We recognise that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment.

As a consequence of this, the management are committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution.

We will support, and seek to comply with, environmental regulations and codes of practice but we will also be proactive in setting higher standards where possible. To this end we will keep operations under periodic review and communicate the policy and any changes to it, to all our staff by means of internal mail and face to face. We will consider the environmental impact of our products, taking into account issues surrounding their manufacture, use, and eventual disposal.

Where we have a choice of supplier for materials; environmental considerations will be an important factor in selection.

We will seek to obtain the environmental benefits of reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions by using national couriers and the mail for delivery and avoiding the use of small van journeys for single consignments wherever possible.

We will practice waste minimisation and recycle as much material as possible. To this end, we will keep accurate records and segregate different categories of waste so as to allow for its most effective disposal.

The person responsible for the implementation of the policy is the managing director.
